ICSD Community Letter - Mask Policy Update

New York State Governor Kathy Hochul and the Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD) have rescinded mask mandates beginning Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Therefore, masks will no longer be required indoors, outdoors, or on school buses in the Ithaca City School District. Our school district will support optional mask-wearing. More >>

Guidance on the Use of COVID-19 Antigen Test Kits

This week, the Ithaca City School District is distributing a COVID-19 antigen test kit, provided to us by New York State, to all students and staff. Each kit includes two tests. Click here to view our guidance on when to use the at-home test.

NYS COVID-19 Report Card

Please note that the ICSD only reports positive COVID-19 cases that are confirmed through laboratory (PCR) testing to the New York State COVID-19 Report Card Dashboard. This includes cases that are confirmed through our school-based testing program and by local health departments. At-home positive antigen tests are NOT reported.
