As we prepare for reopening in the fall, we will focus not only on ensuring the health and safety of our community but on changing our system to be actively antiracist and capable of liberating all of our learners. This is an opportunity for us to reimagine how we “do school” and we will seize the opportunity.

On July 13, Governor Cuomo and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) indicated that, if the data supports doing so, schools must open safely for as much in-person instruction as possible, while also offering remote options for those who need/want it.
