Project Overview
As part of Phase 2 of the capital project, DeWitt is receiving main entrance upgrades to improve security and create a welcome area. The auditorium is also being renovated to improve performance, educational use, and the audience experience. The new performance area will be "zoned" for after-hours security. Some of the school's bathrooms and are also being upgraded, and some site work* is being done.
April 2024 Update from Campus Construction
Two toilet rooms have heating equipment (Change Order) to be installed.
A/V theatrical controls subcontractor returned to continue start-up. Start-up is not fully complete and owner training will be scheduled once the system is fully complete.
Final cleaning was completed in renovated bathrooms and auditorium.
Main entry canopy panels and soffit finish was completed.
Roof edge metal flashing remains to be completed.
