IHS and Jostens will distribute both purchased and borrowed caps, gowns, and tassels at IHS on Wednesday, May 29 in H-Courtyard from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (More Information on Caps & Gowns)

Our 2024 graduates will graduate in two groups this year. Each group will be approximately 150 students. 

The graduation date is based on weather conditions; as we know, Central New York weather is unpredictable, and both of our ceremonies will be held outdoors at IHS Moresco Stadium. We will change the graduation ceremonies to Tuesday, June 25, if we cannot hold the ceremonies on Monday, June 24, due to inclement weather. 

The event will be live-streamed. A link will be sent in advance of the graduation ceremony. As long as the event remains outdoors, there is no limit to the number of guests. In the event of inclement weather on June 24 and June 25, the ceremony will be held indoors on June 25 in Bliss Gym, and guests will be limited. 

Each graduate will have the opportunity to sign up for a graduation ceremony time. Each ceremony will be capped at 150 graduates, so planning for an alternate time may be necessary.  A Graduation Ceremony Sign Up Google Form will be used to request your preferred graduation times.    

The Graduation Ceremony Sign Up Google Form link will open on Monday, May 20 at 11:45 a.m. The link will also be emailed to caregivers, families, and graduates at 11:45 a.m. Only ONE person should sign up the graduate. Please communicate with your graduate to determine who will sign up. The request form will close on Thursday, May 23 at 4:00 p.m.

Any graduate not signed up for a time slot by Thursday, May 23 will be assigned a time. If students need help signing up, there will be support in H-Courtyard during Universal Lunch on Monday, May 20.

Diplomas will be distributed after graduation (more information to follow). If you are not able to pick up your diploma, please be sure that the student’s address is correct and updated in SchoolTool so that they can be mailed home.
