Belle Sherman Project 4 Performances
On March 31, the three fourth-grade classrooms at Belle Sherman Elementary performed student-written and -directed plays for their classmates and families. Nancy Thompson’s Oak performed “Are Video Games Good for You?”; Shannon Frier’s Treehouse Room performed “Are There Too Many Holidays?”; and Lucas Webb’s Willow Room performed “Should Movie Theaters Still Exist?”The plays were written under the guidance of teaching artist Holly Adams through the Hangar Theater’s Project 4. Students in each class read Scholastic News articles on topics that sparked their interest, followed up by researching and debating those topics, and then wrote scripts about them.
Bravo, fourth-graders!
