Enfield Boiler Plant

Project Overview

The entire hot water boiler plant at Enfield Elementary, which has reached the end of its useful life and represents an inefficient and outdated system, is being replaced with the district's first geothermal heating system.

Construction Schedule

June 2022 - Sept 2023

February 2023 Status Update: A temporary fuel oiler boiler was installed for this winter while waiting for the geothermal replacement, which will be completed in the summer; a change order request from the mechanical contractor is under review by Tetra Tech
