Daily COVID-19 Screening

In conjunction with Cayuga Health, the ICSD has developed a daily COVID-19 health screening website for staff. The website allows employees to easily confirm that they are symptom-free, have not recently tested positive for or been exposed to someone with COVID-19, and have not traveled internationally or from a state on the New York State Travel Advisory list before arriving at work each day. Click on the links below for more information and support. 

 
Staff Weight Room Use

The ICSD Strength and Conditioning Room is available for staff use on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the following times:

  • Session 1: 6:00-6:45 a.m.
  • Sanitize: 6:45-7:00 a.m.
  • Session 2: 7:00-7:45 a.m.

Please sign up here to use the weight room. Only 12 staff members will be allowed per session. Staff must complete the daily COVID-19 screening and comply with all safety protocols.

     
EAP Resources

Please remember that the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free, voluntary, and confidential consultation and assistance for employees and their immediate family members, and is here for you during this challenging time. EAP counselors can help you find constructive ways to manage anxiety and any other concerns you may have. The EAP is currently offering teletherapy via phone or secure video conferencing. Call 315-471-1361 or email eap@ocmboces.org to schedule an appointment, or if you just need to talk to someone.

Mental Health Supports

During this difficult and challenging time, you may be feeling, anxious, sad, overwhelmed, or angry at times. Visit our new Mental Health and Well-Being page for a list of mental health supports available to you if you find yourself struggling with your emotions.

 
Telemedicine

All employees covered by the ICSD insurance plan can receive care 24/7 via telemedicine. Normally, telemedicine visits follow the deductible and copay schedule outlined in your BCBS plan, however, in an effort to free up provider offices, urgent care centers, and hospitals and keep people home, all telehealth visits (not just those related to the coronavirus) are now covered in full for all groups in New York State for the duration of the state of emergency. Click here for more information and registration instructions.

Wellness Committee is thinking of you and your families. Thank you, staff and teachers for your continued efforts to take care of our students and families. Wellness Center Forms

To participate in the staff wellness program and use the wellness center, employees must complete the first two pages of these forms and return them to the strength and wellness coach in the wellness center. Forms are also available for download below.
