COVID-19 Vaccination
As of Monday, January 11, 2021, all school personnel are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination, along with other priority populations in Phase 1b. The Ithaca City School District is encouraging staff to get vaccinated, however, it is not mandatory. For more information, please review our COVID-19 vaccination FAQs.

Wellness Videos
The ICSD continues to support staff wellness! Now more than ever, it is critical to find ways to take care of yourself. A few members of our Wellness Committee have created videos that address emotional and physical well-being for you to choose from. We hope to provide additional choices in the future and look forward to all being together again soon.

COVID-19 Surveillance Testing Program
On January 4, 2021, the Ithaca City School District began a voluntary COVID-19 surveillance testing program for students and staff, using a non-invasive form of testing. For an overview of the program, along with answers to frequently asked questions, visit ithacacityschools.org/testing.

Staff Weight Room Use
The ICSD Strength and Conditioning Room is available for staff use on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-7:45 a.m. (Note: when IHS is engaged in full distance learning, the weight room will not be open to staff.)
Please sign up here to use the weight room. Only 12 staff members will be allowed per session.
Staff must complete the daily ICSD COVID-19 screening and comply with all safety protocols.

Daily COVID-19 Screening
In conjunction with Cayuga Health, the ICSD developed a daily COVID-19 health screening website that allows employees to easily confirm that they are symptom-free, have not recently tested positive for or been exposed to someone with COVID-19, and have not traveled internationally or from a state on the New York State Travel Advisory list before arriving at work.
