June 15 and June 18, Ithaca High School

The Tompkins County Health Department will conduct clinics to administer the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine on June 15 and 18 for students who participated in the school-based vaccination clinics in May. The clinics will take place at Ithaca High School during the school day and transportation will be provided for students who attend Boynton, DeWitt, and LACS.

If your child received their first dose of the vaccine on May 25, they will receive their second dose on Tuesday, June 15. Please return a completed consent form to your child's school.

If your child received their first dose of the vaccine on May 27, they will receive their second dose on Friday, June 18. Please register at the link emailed to you on June 8 and return a completed consent form to your child's school.

The Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD) will be offering school-based COVID-19 vaccination clinics for students aged 12-17 years who are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. The clinics will be administered on the dates listed below in the Ithaca High School Q gym (transportation will be provided to students who do not attend IHS):
  • Tuesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 27 (first dose clinics)
  • Tuesday, June 15 and Friday, June 18 (second dose clinics)
As caregivers will not be allowed on campus for the vaccination clinics, we encourage those who would prefer to be present with their children to consider participating in the clinics being offered by Northeast Pediatrics or the May 22 TCHD/Cayuga Health System clinic at the Ithaca Mall.
