Dear Boynton Middle School Community, The contact tracing for the most recent positive case of COVID-19 at Boynton Middle School continues. At this time, due to the number of students and staff in quarantine, we must continue full distance learning through Friday, January 15, 2021. We will resume in-person learning for students and staff on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 (the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday is on Monday, January 18, 2021). I appreciate your understanding and support. Sincerely, Luvelle Brown For more information on COVID-19 testing and contact tracing, please visit ithacacityschools.org/covid. |
Boynton Transitioning to Full Distance Learning for Friday, January 8January 8, 2021 I was informed this morning that a Boynton student has tested positive for COVID-19. As the contact tracing is ongoing, and out of an abundance of caution, we will be transitioning to full distance learning at Boynton Middle School, for at least today, Friday, January 8, 2021. We will inform you if distance learning will continue beyond today as soon as we know more from the Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD). Thank you for your continued understanding and support.
