Society of Women Engineers - 2018 Margaret R. Brewster Scholarship 2018 IHS Senior Awards    
March 23 is the application deadline for the Twin Tiers Society of Women Engineers for the 2018 Margaret R. Brewster scholarship program. There are five non-renewable scholarships for the 2018-2019 school year. These $2,000 scholarships are for female high school seniors in the Twin Tiers region. Eligible seniors must plan to major in an ABET accredited engineering or computer science program during the 2018-2019 school year. The five recipients will be announced in mid-May, and an awards dinner for the recipients and their parents will be held with local SWE members in early June. Get the application.

The 2018 IHS Senior Awards application is due March 2. Please turn in all completed applications to Mrs. Brenda Powers in the Principal's Office. This application will be used for several awards from the community and academic departments. Awards fall under multiple categories, including academic achievement, financial need, individual character and ethnic background of students. If you have any questions, then please see Mr. Noyes. Get the application.

CMC Foundation Scholarship Finger Lakes Running Club Scholarship
The Cayuga Medical Center Foundation Scholarship is a merit-based award designed to provide financial support to graduating seniors intending to continue their education in pursuit of a health center career. The CMC Foundation Scholarship application is due April 12, 2018. Do not mail this application to CMC, we will mail it for you!  Please turn in all completed parts to Ms. Brenda Sullivan by April 3Review the criteria. Carol Buckley Scholarship Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omicron Nu Omega Chapter    
This scholarship has been established in the honor of Carol Jean Buckley, by her family and friends.  Carol, a graduate of Ithaca High School Class of 1983, died of Lou Gehrig's disease in 2005, at the age of 40.

The Carol J. Buckley Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who exhibits promise (and intends to pursue higher education) in the fine, performing, visual, theatrical or written arts.

Omicron Nu Omega is the local graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., which encourages academic excellence and service to communities of color. We award an annual scholarship to an African-American or Latino/a graduating high school senior who is college-bound in the fall. Students from Ithaca High School are invited to apply. We open the competition to students who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or above. Latino Civic Association Cecilia Montaner-Vargas Award      
The Latino Civic Association of Tompkins County is pleased to announce the Cecilia Montaner-Vargas Award, an opportunity for a Latina/o graduating high school senior to be awarded a scholarship totaling $800. This scholarship is to be used towards any future academic program. 

Interested students must complete all sections of the application. Instructions for applicants and the deadline are listed below. 

Eligibility: The Latino Civic Association will consider Latino/a seniors in good academic standing, who demonstrate community service involvement and who are graduating from any Tompkins County school district at the end of the 2018 school year. 

Submittal: The deadline for submission is May 1, 2018. Please send the complete application by email or by mail.

Note: Reference letters and other required documents must be scanned and attached as a .pdf document if the submittal is emailed. Pdfs must be no larger than 5 MB.
