What a wonderful start to the school year!
Students are working extremely hard to increase their overall fitness level, specifically working on upper-body strength and core strength.
October will see a lot of work on different coordination activities. Dribbling, kicking, passing, and punting to increase the eye-foot levels. Students will also be hard at work with hand-eye coordination activities, which include throwing, catching, and aiming.
Please remember that the students have set PE days of either Monday / Wednesday / every other Friday or Tuesday / Thursday / every other Friday.
Instead of throwing out old sneakers, please consider donating gently used sneakers to us here in the gym. We have a sneaker bin that allows students who forget their sneakers to find a pair, which allows them to participate in a safe way. We are in the greatest need of shoe sizes for kindergarten and first-grade students.
