The 1,200 faculty and staff of the ICSD will begin the 2015-2016 academic school year with Convocation on September 8th, 2015. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Kulp Auditorium at Ithaca High School with a Keynote address by Superintendent Dr. Luvelle Brown.
Outstanding student achievement, professional development, curriculum design, and other continuous improvement strategies will be highlighted at this year Convocation. Introductions and special recognitions will also be included in the ceremony.
The first day of classes for students in grades K-6, 9th grade, and all new entrants will be Wednesday, September 9th.Thursday, September 10th will be a full day for all students grades K-12.
