IHS Fall Drama Performance

Fools, a comedy by Neil Simon, will be presented by Ithaca High School in our Black Box Theatre on Thursday, November 2, Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m.

Leon Tolchinsky is ecstatic when he lands the job of schoolmaster in the idyllic town of Kulyenchikov. But when he arrives, he discovers that the entire town is under a 200-year-old curse that has turned all who live there into fools. Leon has 24 hours to break the spell before he, too, becomes a fool. Called “bright, fresh, witty, and warm” by CBS-TV, this comic fable about love, family, destiny, and the nature of intelligence will have you laughing like a fool yourself!

Appropriate for all ages. Tickets will be on sale in the IHS cafeteria the week of the show, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the door. Students $8. Adults $10.
